Install OpenCv in Eclipse IDE and Start Processing Images using Java

You will not found OpenCv in java build-in. If you want to use OpenCv in java, you have to install it. In this post I’m going to show how to setup OpenCv in java using Eclipse IDE –

Install OpenCv in Eclipse IDE and Start Processing Images using Java

 

  1. Download OpenCv from here 
  2. Install OpenCv and extract it to c:\ drive

Go to eclipse and open a new project

 

 

Right click on your project and go to properties

Java build path à Add external jar’s

Select the jar file from 
c:\ --> opencv -->build --> java --> opencv-320.jar

Select native library location --> edit

Select external folder 
and the c:\ --> opencv --> build --> java --> x64 
(or x86 depending on your machine)

 

Yahoo… Now setup is complete.
